In school year 2020-21, All-City Performing Arts Ensembles will rehearse and perform remotely until further notice.

Students in grades 3–12 (or parents/guardians of students) at any CPS school—neighborhood, charter, contract, or options—may apply to join the 2020-21 All-City Performing Arts Spring Ensembles!

All ACPA ensembles will be offered remotely in 2020-2021. Here are the Spring ensembles offered (along with application closing dates):

Priority will be given to students who do not have access to in-school arts education at their home schools. Instruments and other materials will be distributed to students after enrollment is closed.

Students will be asked to submit a virtual audition video or set up an interview time for the ensemble(s) to which they apply. Ensemble directors will reach with the next steps upon completion of the application form.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you read the placement materials and experience guidelines for each ensemble before applying, and be sure to complete all portions of the application carefully.

Directors will reach out with next steps and Google Classroom/Meet details after you apply. Students will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis.

Student Absence Reporting Form

All ACPA Students (or their parents/guardians) should report any absence through the Absence Reporting Form below at least 24 hours before rehearsal (unless there is an emergency). Students who have more than three (3) unreported absences may be dismissed from their ensemble.
