A partnership between the CPS Department of Arts Education and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), the All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition gives CPS high school seniors the opportunity to exhibit their artwork and to gain exposure among selected admissions representatives of various colleges and universities.

Important Dates

Submission window opens: October 31st, 2021
Submission window closes: December 6th, 2021
Notifications of acceptance sent: December 14th, 2021
Deadline to submit any missing artist and artwork information: December 21st, 2021
Virtual exhibition goes live: TBD
Opening virtual reception: TBD
In Person Exhibition*: January 11th-16th, 2022
*NOTE: Decisions regarding an in-person, public exhibition are pending and will follow the latest CDC, IDPH, CDPH, SAIC, and CPS OSHW guidance.
*Failure to submit a media release or any other required information could result in removal from the exhibition.

Submitting Artwork

The 2021-2022 Senior Portfolio Submission Portal is now open through December 6th, 2021. Students may submit 1–5 images or video clips. You must log in to SlideRoom in order to submit artwork.

View Last Year’s Exhibition (2020-21)!

For the second year in a row, the CPS Department of Arts Education staff, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and Design Museum of Chicago worked to shift our in-person Senior Portfolio Exhibition to an online format. The exhibition features 2D, 3D, and time-based artwork by CPS seniors from across the district.
