Intuit: The Center for Intuitive & Outsider Art

Each year, twenty teachers from Chicago Public Schools are selected to participate in Intuit's Teacher Fellowship Program. The program offers professional development, 2 Lane Credits, resources, and classroom supplies. The program begins with five teacher training sessions in the Fall, which include: academic lectures, Curator's Tours of outsider art collections, hands-on workshops, and access to the Robert A. Roth Study Center. Teachers gain the necessary skills to develop an innovative curriculum, based on the characteristics of outsider art. Students create their artworks in the Spring of each academic year, in preparation for a curated, public exhibition.
