Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art continues to be a partner with today's educators who seek to integrate concepts about contemporary art and the creative process into their curricula and teaching practice. The museum serves the needs of teachers who have varying levels of experience in, and commitment to, contemporary arts education. From school tours, to monthly educators' salons, to Saturday hands-on workshops, the MCA embodies longstanding and consistent service to educators, and a deep commitment to advocating for socially responsive, contemporary curriculum in the classroom. All MCA teacher programs are free for Illinois educators. Participating teachers receive CPDUs toward teaching-certificate renewal.
