HealthWorks Theatre

HealthWorks Theatre is an education outreach theatre company that works with schools and communities to address critical social and health issues facing young people through educational theatre. Each of our performances – performances on HIV/AIDS prevention, childhood obesity and healthy lifestyles, and performances on character development – can be followed up with interactive question and answer periods so that the students fully comprehend the lessons learned from the plays. Our shows are funny, serious, incorporate music and action, and get young people to think about issues is ways that simply a classroom lecture or discussion cannot.
