Chicago Playworks For Families and Young Audiences The Theatre School at DePaul University

Chicago Playworks is proud to be recognized nationally as a pioneer of theatre for families. Founded as the Goodman Children's Theatre in 1925, Chicago Playworks has been presenting memorable theatre experiences for children longer than anyone else in the city. Today we are dedicated to providing live theatre that reflects our audience’s experience in a contemporary, multi-ethnic and urban environment.

We invite you and the young people in your life to join us for plays that expand our perception of the world to include new possibilities, new points of view and ultimately, new friends.
