Pegasus Players

Pegasus Players is a not-for-profit theatre company located in Chicago's Uptown area, one of the city's most ethnically diverse neighborhoods. Our mission is two-fold: to produce the highest quality artistic work and to provide exemplary theatre, entertainment, and arts education at no charge to people who have little or no access to the arts.  Our education programs include: The Young Playwrights Festival (city-wide playwriting workshop and competition for Chicago students), Artist in Residency with Teachers in the Schools (ARTS) serving schools in Uptown, Edgewater and Rogers Park, and Global Voices -- a playwriting exchange between Chicago schools and schools in international cities with the purpose of promoting literacy and providing a forum for self-expression across languages and cultures.
