Emerald City Theatre

Emerald City Theatre produces family theater experiences that serve as a Gateway to the Arts, inspiring Early Learners through Play. We serve 80,000 Chicagoans through a year-round season of productions, a Celebrate Reading tour and one of Chicago's largest Theater School and Camp programs. Emerald City Theatre School's mission is to provide children with world class training that focuses on important life skills to creatively face the world. We use our bodies, voices and creativity to build teamwork, raise self-confidence and support school curriculums in arts, reading and state standards. Emerald City Theatre was awarded the 2009 Nickelodeon Parents Pick Award for Chicago's Best Theater for Kids. 75% of all child tickets for CPS students are free or 50% off.
