Department of Arts Education Professional Learning, Summer 2018

CPS Arts Teachers! Kick off the 2018-19 school year at the first session of a year-long, comprehensive professional learning series offered by the Department of Arts Education that focuses on understanding and implementing the updated Illinois Arts Learning Standards. Engage in hands-on techniques for bringing your arts instruction, curriculum, and assessment into alignment with the updated Standards, and come away with practical strategies for using these techniques in your arts classrooms.


Mastering the Standards: Aligning Instruction

Description: Through hands-on learning, arts teachers will acquire discipline-specific, practical strategies for aligning instructional techniques to the updated Illinois Arts Learning Standards that take effect in school year 2018–19.
