Jointly hosted by the CPS Department of Arts Education and Ingenuity2019 Arts Education Conference, Cultivating Conditions for Growth, is an excellent opportunity for you to inform and inspire your colleagues and community about innovative arts education practices, policies, and programs.

This year’s Conference will be held on April 5, 2019 from 8:30am–5:00pm at Benito Juarez Community Academy.

We are currently accepting proposals for sessions that address at least one of our four conference strands:

  • Teaching and Learning in the Arts: Advancing quality arts teaching and learning across the city of Chicago
  • Partnership Practices: Building and sustaining long-term relationships between CPS schools and community arts partners
  • Arts Advocacy and Leadership: Advocating for arts-rich policies, programming, and practices at local and national levels
  • Culture, Equity, and Inclusion: Ensuring quality arts education programming for all students

The deadline for proposal submissions is January 18, 2019.
