How to Create or Reply to Posts on Google Groups

NOTE: You can no longer create or respond to posts in Google Groups on a mobile phone unless you are using the desktop version of the site in your browser.

To create a brand-new post from the Google Groups home page:

1) Go to your Group by clicking on “My groups” in the lefthand sidebar, then selecting the group from the list that appears. (You can also go directly to the group by starring the group as a favorite and then clicking into “Favorite groups”.)

2) Click the “New conversation” button that appears in the upper left once you have clicked on the group you want to post to.

To reply to a post from the Google Groups home page:

1) Go to your Group by clicking on “My groups” in the lefthand sidebar, then selecting the group from the list that appears. (You can also go directly to the group by starring the group as a favorite and then clicking into “Favorite groups”.)

2) Select the post you want to reply to. Scroll to the bottom of the conversation and hit “Reply All,” then type your response (the same way you would in an email).
