University of Chicago Ballroom and Latin Dance Association

The University of Chicago Ballroom and Latin Dance Association  (BLDA) is a student run group on campus providing instruction in Ballroom and Latin dances and opportunities to dance, teach, and compete. BLDA provides a number of outreach opportunities for schools including:

1. Salsa and Ballroom instruction – In School Workshops, In School Performances, In School and After School Activities

2. Site visits – accept students in all our campus classes

3. Site visits – open to organizing a tour of campus, the university, dance programs (both student groups and academic)

4. Site visits – ready to provide performance and class space for dance classes/performances
