Chicago Humanities Festival: Stages, Sights & Sounds

The Chicago Humanities Festival's mission is to create opportunities for people of all ages to support, enjoy, and explore the humanities. We accomplish this by creating an annual Festival of the Humanities and by presenting programs throughout the year that encourage the study and enjoyment of the humanities. Stages, Sights & Sounds, the Chicago Humanities Festival's spring programming, brings world-renowned international performers and local artists to Chicago's stages in an array of events and activities. Stages, Sights & Sounds programs are designed to appeal to people of all ages. The fall Chicago Humanities Festival presents more than 100 programs on history, literature, science, music, visual art, theater, public affairs, philosophy, and more to an audience of 50,000.
