Submissions are now being accepted for the following districtwide All-City Visual Arts exhibitions, which will be held online in 2020-21:

  • 2020 All-City Senior Portfolio
  • 2020-21 All-City Visual Arts High School Exhibition
  • 2020-21 All-City Visual Arts Elementary Exhibition

Curated by the CPS Department of Arts Education in collaboration with local arts organizations, these exhibitions feature 2D, 3D, and digital artwork by CPS elementary and high school students. Students at all CPS schools (including district-managed, charter, contract, and options schools) are eligible to apply.

2020 All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition

A partnership between the CPS Department of Arts Education and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), the All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition gives CPS high school seniors (grade 12) the opportunity to exhibit their artwork and to gain exposure among selected admissions representatives of various colleges and universities. The 2020 online exhibition opens in January 2021.


2020-21 All-City Visual Arts High School Exhibition

A collaboration between the Department of Arts Education and Design Museum of Chicago, the ACVA High School Exhibition showcases 2D, 3D, and time-based artwork by CPS high school students. Students in grades 9–12 from any CPS high school (including district-managed, charter, contract, and options schools) are encouraged to submit work. The 2020-21 online exhibition opens in May 2021.


2020-21 All-City Visual Arts Elementary Exhibition

A collaboration between the Department of Arts Education and Design Museum of Chicago, the ACVA Elementary Exhibition showcases 2D, 3D, and time-based artwork by CPS elementary school students. Students in grades PreK–8 from any CPS elementary school (including district-managed, charter, contract, and options schools) are encouraged to submit work. The 2020-21 online exhibition opens in May 2021.
