These Spring exhibitions, curated by the CPS Department of Arts Education, feature 2D, 3D, and digital artwork by CPS elementary and high school students. PreK–12 students at all CPS schools (including district-managed, charter, contract, and options schools) are eligible to apply.

Based on recent closure announcements from our exhibition site, Expo 72, the 2020 All-City Elementary and High School Visual Art Exhibitions will now be an online exhibitions. The CPS Department of Arts Education has created updated submission deadlines and guidelines for these adjusted events.

Note that students and parents/guardians of students can now submit artwork directly to both the Elementary and High School exhibitions. Teachers of PreK-12 students can also submit artwork on behalf of their students.


ACVA Online Exhibition Information

Important Dates for 2020 Online High School and Elementary Exhibitions:

Submission window open: April 1–May 1, 2020

Notification of acceptance into exhibition: May 11, 2020

Missing Information Deadline: May 15, 2020 (Failure to submit a media release or any other required information could result in removal from the exhibition.)

Virtual Exhibitions Open: May 27, 2020
